Sending loads of vibes for Blossom today and also thinking of you. I hope it all goes well.

Lots of straightforward spay and nice smooth recovery vibes for Blossom. When do you get an update?xx

Thanks so much everyone :)

We just got a call to say she's already had the op, which she has come through fine and we can collect her at 3pm :)

So, if I can change those vibes to smooth recovery ones please xx

Sending smooth recovery vibes for Blossom, just make sure she is eating/ drinking/ pooping before you collect her at 3pm - take her a little treat to see or something?

They seem to do a quick turnaround with spays :s we had Luna almost 3 hours after her op, I don't think that was long enough but did get a freebie stool sample out of it when I moaned at her check up!

Thank you.

She's been home a few hours now and is settled in her temporary pen. She is obviously quite sleepy, but has been moving around a little. She's been drinking fine and has been weeing, but I haven't seen any poos or eating, so I'm going to be concerned until she does so. We have a dose of Loxicom to give shortly, so maybe that will perk her up a little.

I do feel bad because I didn't take her or pick her up today, my dh did because I had a traumatic experience last night. PLEASE DON'T QUOTE. The convenience store where I work was robbed at knife point last night and myself and a male colleague were the only ones on the stop floor. Thankfully no one was hurt, but it's been replaying in my mind ever since (I didn't want to attract too much attention by putting this in general) x

Oh no sorry to hear that's awful, will they give you counselling after such an ordeal?

Just remember for every bad person there are thousands of good.

Glad Blossom went through her op okay and I'm praying she will eat and poop soon, mine did have a nibble on grass initially so may be worth trying that if you haven't already

That must have been very nerve wrecking for you. Whatever is going on in the world? I am sure you know this but grass and Dandys are the 2 foods which a newly spayed rabbit might try before anything else. Tomorrow she should start to eat pellets etc. I'm sure she will be ok. Hope you all have a good night's sleep.

Sending you lots of gentle hugs. That must have been so very scary for you.

I'm so pleased that Blossom has come through her spay OK and is home. After I had Tui done a couple of months ago, she was very sleepy and hardly moved for a few hours. She didn't start to eat anything until about 3am, when she nibbled some Kale. After that she very gradually returned to normal behaviour and eating.

Sending lots of vibes for Blossom. Hopefully the pain relief will make her feel better.

I am glad to hear about Blossom and I hope she beings to eat and poo ...

Sending you loads and loads of vibes. I really hope you're OK xxxxxx

I hope Blossom is feeling better soon. Also thinking of you after such a scary ordeal, sending hugs xx
