Wise Old Thumper
Some of you may have read in health that Homer has a "cloudy eye". He is due for a dental probably next week and I was wondering if anyone knew if they needed specialist equipment to do an ultrasound scan on his eye (or if a standard one that is normally in vets would suffice). I could get them to do an x-ray too but that will probably only tell me that he has elongated roots which I already know - would an x-ray show up anything more than this e.g. abcess etc.
I just need to know that it is nothing more serious than cataracts as I worry so much (having previously lost a dog to cancer that started in her eye and a bunny with teeth problems/abcess). I know cataracts can be serious too.
Homer remains fine in himself and is quite lively.
