  • Please Note - Medical Advice

Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

We are very grateful to members who take time to answer other members questions, but please do be clear in your replies that you are sharing personal experience and not giving instructions on what must be done.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

Ginger, please not again :( - home again now.

It's happening again.

This isn't fair on her.

She's had relevant meds on advise of the vet as i have it all at home and stress won't help.

This is killing me, and more importantly, she may be dying.

Ginger is a flame and she has burned brightly. It doesn't matter if this is her time because she has had the best life a bunny could ever wish for. I sincerely hope it is not her time but she has always been happy, she has the wonderful Biscuit as her mate, she has loads of space, loads of toys, loads of treats. She couldn't want more.

So sorry. It must be heartbreaking that she's not well again and not knowing if it's just another episode or something more serious this time. Poor, poor Ginger, it's just not fair

 Loads and loads of vibes for Ginger. She's an amazing little bunny, I hope really really hope she can pull through. Thinking of you all.xxx

Everything crossed for Ginger from here.
You are both much in my thoughts.

Gray is it the snuffles, or the tummy which is the the problem this time? If you need blackthorn leaves for dysbiosis just pm me the details I can send them to.
