Pellets and nuggets what is difference?

What is difference between pellets and nuggets? I have a 20kg of hay gates rabbits choice pellets and 2kg bag of burgess nuggets with mint. She was used to eating both. Does she need both or will the pellets be fine. The bag is so big it’s literally gonna last a year or more. My bunny is 59 days old if that helps

Hi and welcome to the forum :wave: I may be wrong but I have always thought that the terms are interchangeable i.e. nuggets are the same as pellets. She doesn't need both.

If anything I'd expect pellets to be cold-pressed and nuggets to be extruded, and would rather feed cold pressed so would tend to choose the pellets. But I don't know if that is just my experience and interpretation or whether there is a more definite use of the words!
