Please Note - Medical Advice
Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.
You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.
We are very grateful to members who take time to answer other members questions, but please do be clear in your replies that you are sharing personal experience and not giving instructions on what must be done.
Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.
Thanks, understand,How about people breeding rabbit, they have 10 rabbits sometimesThis is really not a good idea at all. You need to take your pet to a vet for this.

Thanks, it is easy once you watched this simple video:I've never heard of anyone doing this for rabbits but I think it's somewhat common for cats and dogs. In the past I've held family cats while my dad gave the vaccination.
Rabbits are delicate and it's not really something the average person should do though. Normally your vet will first show you how to do medical procedures before you do it yourself, if something needs to be done at home.
That's very interesting. I don't think it is allowed in the UK.I've never heard of anyone doing this for rabbits but I think it's somewhat common for cats and dogs. In the past I've held family cats while my dad gave the vaccination.

I was commenting about William's father vaccinating their cats and said that I doubted it would be allowed in the UK.rabbit
It depends where you live as different vets can charge different prices. I recently paid £90 for the triple vaccine. In the UK it is illegal to vaccinate a rabbit yourself, I also don't know if I would trust something sold online in such a way.rabbit
