New Kit
So Loki our 5 month old Netherland Dwarf was neutered on Friday, all went well and he's recovering well.
The vet said he's starting to develop spurs on his teeth and may require dental treatment at a later date. But all is good for now.
I don't understand why this is happening though. They have a hay subscription for timothy hay from Haybox which they love, they get 20g of Burgess pellets a day each, greens which he eats but Nova the female isn't fussed on.
They've got a knawing carrot and plenty of other toys to. Am I doing something wrong with their diet? Do I need to change to a different hay?
The nurse said I'm doing everything OK and some rabbits are just prone to having teeth like that.
Amy suggestions on what else we can get to keep their teeth down please.
