New Kit
I brought my first bun home yesterday. The lady I got her from told me beforehand that she needed her teeth trimmed regularly, she said because the rabbit (no name yet) had never been given anything to chew on when she was young by her first family, so she’d never learned to chew her own teeth down. Well, after looking at her teeth myself, I’d say that isn’t the problem. Im no expert but I know enough to know that her teeth should not be going in all those wild directions.
And what’s up with that top tooth?
We only have one rabbit vet anywhere near us, and that’s who she’s been taken to every couple months for the last two years to get her teeth trimmed. When I take her to get spayed I’ll see if he thinks he can do anything more for her teeth, but he’s kinda just a basic small animal vet. I really wouldn’t trust him for anything other than the most routine of operations.
Has anyone else has experience with a rabbit with teeth like this? What did you end up needing to get done?
