New Kit
Dear All,
As another new member recently said, if you cant beat them, join them..
Since Sam (BunnySam) joined the site, I have heard a different story EVERY day about something new on the site.
When we speak on the phone, the conversation usually starts with Sam telling me to goto the site and check out.. etc etc.
As soon as I've heard those words, RabbitreHome I think, "oh god" "not again"
However, it is true that I love Sams Bunnies as much as I love her and I'd protect them from anything and anyone.. you kinda build up a bond with a bunny when you see him or her through their times of need.
When Billy was very young, he was ill and very short of fluids. He needed special care, cleaning and total attention. They thought I was mad leaving work to go back to Billy so I could dictate AND make sure he was ok. He ended up needing a bath that afternoon and a trip to the vets. A few days later, after more care and injecting this horrible green stuff in his mouth, he started to put on weight, retain fluids and become more mischievious - something all Rabbits appear to be !!
From that time on, I've felt like his Dad and to a certain extent, to Rosie, his younger partner too. We got her for him as we discovered Billy was deaf and therefore, needed daytime company. She's gradually getting used to me but, now they're the terrible twos - mischievious together !!??
Anyway, Bunnies are the best pets you can have and I am glad there are sooooooo many people out there who actually care and want to make a difference..
Big Up Rabbit re Home and their members !!
Ok, so that was a long hello but, I hope you all dont mind.
Steve
