:? i know buns can hide their pain but this is crazy:shock:
Berties eye ulcer is not healing..its not getting any worse but then again its not getting any better either The odd thing the only thig which led me to take him to the vet was he was ultra grumpy and not happy at all....but eating fine etc. after ruling out everything else the vet checked his eyes and one had a tny maybe scratch or something...when stianed turned out to be a corneal ulcer.
he has NOT had a mucky eye or even a mildy watery eye:shock::shock:
Then theres our poor little rescued bun casper....who has lost his lower lip due to an injury or something and it had gone necrotic. Yesterday the vet discovered that it was NOT food debris and panacur in his teeth at the bottom but a tooth root abscess:shock:
This little bun is eating like a horse but has problems with hay but still tries.
He is so happy and binkies almost non stop...is becoming more used to people now and is letting us touch him..but hes still wild with everyone else inc the vet who he bit
hes showing no obvious signs of being affected by anything let laone this horrific condition:shock::shock:
what on earth is going on..is it purely because theyre hiding their pain too well? but i know berties pain signals only too well and its why i took him to the vets...but his eye..omg:shock:
poor little casper i havent had long enough to read his body signals yet but to be ating so well and lively..i just dont get it
no wonder i lost bandit to acute bloat........am i thick or something or are my buns just good at hiding pain? and casper has had the white stuff accumalte every few days since we got him home form the vets that first day:shock:
my old kidney cat defied description tho too...she was a firm plump old puddy cat with a beautiful soft shiny coat:shock:
