Volunteer day at Windwhistle..20.2.11. Future days ?

I will be there about 11.00.

You know it's a Sunday morning, lying in bed, breakfast in bed, leisurely shower .......blah, blah, blah.......NOT.

Once finished tending to all the furries, 11 is going to be the earliest for me.

I hope this lovely weather stays for the weekend.

Just been out and bought some milk, coffee and some little cakes for Sunday.

Hopefully other volunteers will be bringing other supplies, both for humans, bunnies and piggies.

I have got a few newspapers for the litter trays and hutches and other bits and pieces for the animals.

I have no idea how many people are going but, the more the merrier.

Fingers crossed the weather forecast is good.

There is a volunteer day at Windwhistle Warren on 20th March.

Basically a few of RU'ers are going over to see Alice for the day, and help do whatever is needed to be done.

Clean out hutches, tidy up, groom, clip, etc. In fact it is a day to help Alice. Whatever needs doing................within reason and our capabilities, we will do to help.

Some of us are bringing food to share with others. We don't want Alice to use her funds for us, as the animals are much more needy.

Any newspapers, binbags, treats, toys, disinfectant, kitchen roll, oddments of carpet brought along will also be greatly appreciated.

We hope you can make it.

Where abouts is it? Im gutted I didnt see this sooner as I probably could have sorted stuff out for her!

I cant make sunday but can def sort some donations to take up another time! Ill start saving bits and pieces now.

I looked online and saw gloucester... Where in gloucester?

From here it is around 45mins drive. Be warned though, there are many speed cameras along the route.

Pretty straight forward though.

From here it is around 45mins drive. Be warned though, there are many speed cameras along the route.

Pretty straight forward though.

Our son is staying at home to look after my mother and the dog!

We are going to set off early to try to catch a glimpse of the Severn Bore due tomorrow too.

Will be bringing French sticks, some cheeses, celery, toms etc - hope this is OK.
