All the best for you and your Lillian! I think you are a great rabbit carer. You don't waste a minute and get her the best care possible. Hopefully, she will be back home with her family in no time.
Please Note - Medical Advice
Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.
You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.
We are very grateful to members who take time to answer other members questions, but please do be clear in your replies that you are sharing personal experience and not giving instructions on what must be done.
Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.
I got everything crossed here that Lillian can come home today Craig xxx

Hoping for some more good news today Craig.Thank you Loobers. I have had a pretty sleepless night - all I could think about was Lillian. So I'm knackered. And Henry is sitting here in the living room looking very very lost and forlorn. The vet will ring in the next 3 hours with an update - the fact that we've not heard from the vet since yesterday afternoon is a strong positive - as Lillian must be continuiing to respond positively. I just hope that her output is better, more poop and that she is more comfortable. I just feel so bad in not being abl eto have spotted this before it developed into an infection. All things crossed here and hopefully Lillian will be home later today. I will update once I have further information.
Thank you every bun.
