 £45 is soooo much!
It was £10 for each of our myxi jabs and now cos we have 13 we got them all VHD vacc'ed for £70, but our vet gave us a great deal.

thats wat they told me anyway.might be for the two.want to keep at least one bun.i couldnt cope with both gone.baby wasnt realy planned but good now its happened.x

I paid £30 for Myxi and VHD and one vets (one bun) then shopped around and found somewhere that did them both for £20!

You just have to shop around

oooh that makes sense. So maybe that is what Kim's £45 was so would be £22.50 for one bun to have both jabs which sounds right.

I don't mind paying just under 35 quid per bunny, and bear in mind that i pay that amount only once a year. When i get their Myxi jab six monthly it is half that and i have a very rabbit savvy vet, i would gladly pay her more;) :D

One of my vets charges £30 PER jab and the other £30 for both.

I bet you can guess which one gets the vaccinations....

here in essex its 15.50 for mixi, 18 pounds for vhd, i asked for discount as ive twenty two buns, they said they would allow 50p off each, great. costs me a fortune each year, our vet loves us:lol: i

Having read how much everyone pays for jabs, I think I'll give my vet a big snog when I go next week!!

I pay £16 for both jabs and that includes a quick once over and a little look at teeth. If their nails need clipping they do it free at the same time!!

An English Lop will need a specialist home Kim. Have you thought about asking the assistance of one of the rescues on RR to ensure that he is placed in a suitable home. A rescue would be able to homecheck and more importantly arrange for him to receive the necessary vaccinations asap. I seem to recollect you were concerned that someone close to you had experienced myxi and, as you know, unvaccinated bunnies are at risk if you have myxi in your area.

PM me if you want some assistance in finding a placement for him.

Sorry Kim but i'm very confused now! You told me you had found a home for Charlie some time ago and that you needed to rehome Narla too? This was all because you and your partner were 'having troubles' and you were going to live at your Grandma's?

Then not so long ago you were asking on here about finding girl friends for the boys???? :?

To be honest i think you should rehome all of them, especially if you and your fella keep having problems, and now that you have a baby on the way.

You also told me it was around £50 for a spay........;)

Hope everything works out

if you cant afford a bunny how on earth wil you provide for a baby??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? also why are you being ruled by your partner?? it is up to you not him

I think if you want to keep them then you should. its not up to him. If its because of money...the i would probably say..well if you cant afford 2 can u afford one? xxxxx

I paid(well, I didn't, my parents did ;) ) £30 for one rabbit with both vacs. Didn't have both vacs at same time but paid for both at same time. So it cost us £60 for two jabs and two bunnies.

I dont think we should be judging Kim, she's trying her best in the situation thats she's in.
