Charlie was put to sleep in my arms at 11.05am this morning. He was getting frustrated with himself this morning because he couldn't move, he wouldn't eat and was just lay in his own urine and poo. I know I have made the right decision but it hurts like hell. I am normally pretty composed at dealing with these situations but I cried all the way to the vets with him in my arms.
