Lucy Update.... Page 6- letter of complaint

no i think it was before, the breeder is just a :censored::censored::censored::censored::censored::censored::censored::censored:

and a big fat :censored::censored::censored::censored:

I saw the thread.. cheers mate, im a bit more calm

Breeders really do suck. :( And this one obviously hasn't a clue what they're doing if he thought she'd miscarried.

I suspect it won't get you anywhere, but can you report the breeder to the RSPCA. No doubt he's keeping them in cr*p conditions anyway... :?

yeah I may i will think about it,

i know the cages cant be great, as lucy cant hop very well, she has trouble hopping over things a few inches high (2-4 inches max) and she cant periscope or sit on her legs to wash- so i think the muscles in them havent developed very well....

also

she wont chew anything... willow, cardboard ANYTHING, its quite odd....

im so sorry you've had to go through this you poor thing.
a friend of mine had a similar thing with a cat she took in, it sort of moved in with her then dissapeard for a few days, she thought it had gone back to its original owner then it turned up looking a bit worse for wear, she took it to the vet and thay sugessted an emergency spay. after the op the vet told her there were kittens there but the cat was so young it would have been dangerous for her to have them. my friend was devestated! but knew she'd done the right thing.
you've done a wondrefull thing taking in lucy dont beat yourself up about things that are not your fault, i wish you and lucy the best of luck. X

and she doesnt play, throw things, rip things, dig things... she literally just 'sits' and if you stroke her head she lies down- thats it....

i can tell she has had a life of stimulating experiences... not

Lucy is so lucky to have you, please dont feel guilty as she now has such a loving caring mummy who will make her betterxxxxxxxxx

oh - Lucky Lucy is so very lucky to have you as her mum who loves & cares for her...she is probably wondering whats all this fuss about and loving the attention & TLC! She deserves it & as sad as her situation was...she is so very young to have been able to have another litter...it wouldnt be fair on her little body....hope she recovers well & learns that she is aloud to play & hop & to use those little muscles she hasnt had a chance to use.....when she is recovered - her binkys are gonna be huge in gratitude!
Youve done so well with her....you are her little angel....hugs! and noserubs!:D

Lots of healing vibes for lucy and no guilt vibes for you, you did the right thing :) x

I can imagine they would of been moving. That's kind of why I was a bit funny about it on your other thread.:(

I hope Lucy will perk up and act like a proper bunny once this is all over and done with. I don't think I'd of felt much like playing or even chewing anything if I'd been through what she's been through.

Now she has the chance to have a good life with you. :)

Awwww poor you and poor poor little Lucy, this is so sad, regarding her 'sinking' tummy as long as she is eating and pooing, weeing I wouldn't worry too much, I would feed her up with lots of healthy hay and veggies and generally spoil her rotten, I actually got a lump in my throat when you described her not 'behaving' like most happy socialised, bunnies - that is just typical of all she could do probably, it just confirms the cruelty of locking them in a small box with no stimulation - it's like she has been 'conditioned' mentally to just sit there god help her  I hope your going to be able to have her indoors for a good while so she is really strong and has been rehabilitated before she takes on the other bunnies, I would house her next to them so she can watch and learn I think. Poor little innocent mite. I sincerely hope she recovers well and has a second chance at what life should be like. x

Hopefully she is young enough to forget it all, she is so beautiful. When we got her I picked her up and held her and she was so still but didnt seem scared, the woman at the shop said she was used to it as the breeders pick them up all the time....

I just hope the times I have been stroking her little head and ears that she has liked it and not just 'going through the paces'

oh my god thats awfull! but you cant change it now, its done and i know you feel dreadfull but you have to concentrate on lucy now, she's had a rotten life upto now ,
you would have to have homed all the babies and we all know how hard that can be. put all your energy into helping lucy recover.X

in her run i made it nice and comfy for her,

there is a litter tray with litter covered with torn newspaper to make it comfy
a towel folded into a nice soft pillow
and a fleecy blanket...

she has chosen to lie on a piece of cardboard.......:) typical..

i think shes gonna be one spoilt bun!:) its about time she knew what real love is. X

Poor Lucy, what an awful start in life :(

Fingers crossed its only uphill from now especially now she is with you
Hopefully she can learn how to play and have fun from your other bunnies, its heartbreaking that she doesn't know how to play simply because she has never had the chance to learn

PS - She's very pretty

I can see now what went wrong with the bond, the two bunnies adored her, licked her and lay with her etc- and she never moved a muscle- never licked back etc...

Im sure they will get her motivated and show her a good time!
