Jimmys new playhouse convertion!!!!!

That looks great. I bought a playhouse yesterday - collect it tomorrow, building it at the weekend, depending on the weather - so that's given me so many great ideas. You've obviously thought about the practicalities - something I'm not great at.

I'd love to see the inside of it, and beware lots of very detailed questions about how you achieved things as I start to customise mine! :)

good luck with your convertion, its great fun!!!!

just taken pics of inside.... just got to paint the outside all the same and buy a handle for the potty... lol. i have put flooring on the bottom for ease of cleaning, vetbed on the upstairs and bedroom for comfort, jimmy has now moved in and loves it!!!!!!!

Fantastic. Going to show my o/h this now as we have a 6 x 4 shed but very basic.

How did you do you door - we have a cat flap and was going to change it to something more solid as the locks keep sticking.
 
Sames we have a 6x4 shed but we rushed putting it up so she could get in their before winter and horrible weather but this summer we are completety renovating it lol xx
 
The playhouse looks lovely and i bet he likes hopping up and down and looking out the windows from upstairs :lol: Well done you for building it and adding all the extra bits that make it easier to change his water/food.. fab ideas.
One thing i did notice though is the size of his outside run.. how big is it? To me it doesnt look like he has alot of space outside to run about.

hi....

yes his run is on the small side 4 x 2.5 foot! this is because when i am home he has the full freedom of the garden which is completly bunny friendly and on 2 levels, the attached run is purely for jimmy to enjoy some outdoor pleasures whilst im not around. jimmie also comes in the house most evenings (infact jimmy was originally a house bunny, but when my partner and i got together some 18mns ago a westie came with my partner so jimmy had to move into a safer environment, they are fine supervised, but i woud never leave them alone.....phewww....so thats that explained!) plus we have a puppy who is just getting socialised with jimmy etc,

the run isnt all the excercise he gets!

Look at it in reverse, if jimmy was in a 2ft wide cage/hutch with a 4ft run that would be considered fine? So many bunnies are kept this way....results are poor bunnies, unhappy! mine isnt one of them..... he has all of the stimulation he needs from his house, toys, days in the garden and evenings in our house, his run is purely what he would call his belconany, where he can wind the cat up when were not there!!!

thanks for concerns but they are deffinatly not needed!!!
