Jake & Fern enjoy more space

We used to have a homemade enclosure splitting the back room so Jack could access the kitchen/back door whilst we were home. Now that's sadly no longer needed we took the pen down and rabbit proofed the room. Jake and Fern are enjoying it, Jake is always wanting to come into the living room too although we've not rabbit proofed that so needs to be supervised, he also likes to follow into the kitchen and has even been outside! Fern sticks more to their base and under the table for now but she wants to follow him! We've left a bit of rubber matting down with a small lip round to try and keep most of the hay/poops around the letter trays and so they have their own space. It's been nice to spend time with them more easily with no barriers

Good idea, although she was used to laminate floor in my bunny room so I’m sure she will soon be fine.

Thank you everyone! Jake comes outside to be nosey if I'm out there but he soon hops back in, he doesn't really like being outside even when we had nice grass in a previous house! Yeah more mats is a good idea, there is a long runner that isn't seen in the pics, I need to get some more enrichment for them and spread it out since they've just finished their willow balls, grass mat so I don't think she has much reason to venture far from their base ATM!
