Hi everyone. Very sad news this morning. Ozzie had taken a turn for the worse overnight - although he was eating and drinking (he drank three small bowls between 6pm and when i went to bed around 11pm), he was very floppy and quite clearly not well this morning. So i took him back to the vets. They did offer to put him on a drip but I just felt it wasn't fair to keep him going - he'd 'gone' already. The vet did agree with my decision after i made it too. So that made me feel better. I sat with him while he went.

I loved that rabbit so much. I hope he had a good life for the 4 years he was with me.

So sorry to hear this news.
Something very similar happened to my rabbit Lopsie and I made the same decision you did. I think you've done the best for him. Rest in peace little one.

Hi Rabbers, So sorry to hear about little Ozzie. Leo is experiencing exactly the same symptoms at the moment & reading your thread has really saddened me as I know I'm going to have to make that awful decision in the not so distant future
