Cookie had a follow up vets visit today and he can't believe she is the same rabbit that was so poorly just a few weeks ago.

Has Gastav been neutered? The vet won't be able to do Cookie until Spring.
Does he current live indoors at the moment? The vet said he would feel happier if we kept her in for the winter. I am not sure whether the house is not going to be too warm for her over the winter. Trying to decide whether to keep her in or convert a shed. What do you think?

Yes - Gustav was neutered at the same time as he had his eye out. We have had him in the house while he has been recovering and he loves company and running around, he has laminate sorted - we actually think he was quite lonely so have now moved him back outside so he can see and hear the other rabbits around him and we are keen to find him a home as soon as he is fully fit again.

A converted shed is a great idea as you can really go to town on making it as fun for them as you can, adding levels and toys etc

Today Gustav got the all clear to have the stiches out next wednesday! yay!!!

I was soooo close to giving you a call over Cookie a few weeks back! Glad she found a home .
