My bunny was diagnosed with glaucoma in January. I had initially been taking her to the vet for funny breathing since octoberish but the vets could never hear it/she never done it in the vets, when we were leaving I noticed her left eye was bulging so asked him to check this. He thought it was a tumour behind her eye and recommend a fna to be taken to check for a tumour? Then removal after a talk with my oh we decided to scan her eye to check if there was a mass present, the vet did an ultrasound scan and X-ray and there was nothing found. The vet advised to start penicillin injections again and continue her usual mess for her leg (metacam tram afoul and gabapentin) there was no improvement and I returned to the vets to see there vet with an interest in eyes. After examining her eye she checked her iop which was 49.8 ! They gave her a steroid injection to help with inflammation and prescribed azopt eye drops and said they would speak to an eye specialist to see if there was anything else they could do. The eye specialist and my vet both do not recommended removal of the eye due to peppers age and other health issues. Today I've came home and her eye looks much worse than usual. Can an eye burst due to glaucoma? Am I been unkind to her ? I just don't know what to do for the best
