Please Note - Medical Advice
Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.
You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.
We are very grateful to members who take time to answer other members questions, but please do be clear in your replies that you are sharing personal experience and not giving instructions on what must be done.
Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

Is that him in your Avatar? I always find that dark furred buns that have an eye out, it shows up less! I have known children to not even notice I have a one eyed rabbit sometimes! He will be wonderful when he's healed. He's wonderful now
yes thats him hes a grey colour.my kids are only young so its a big shock for them, there taking it rather well tho but giving him his own space.thankyou for the kind words
I am glad your bunny is doing well following his operation. I am sending you some positive vibes that he continues to improve over the next few days and weeks. I have owned netherland dwarf bunnies for many years and currently have to little boys.
In the past I had two boys with girls names because they were named when they were young-one kept his name his entire 13 years and the other got a nickname even though he kept Fancy as his regular name.
So glad it was successful Aboleth being pale means her eyelashes show up where they've grown back around the 'hole' (her eyelids have been sewn together, I assume!) and I do check the area for anything abnormal, but it's fine. She is odd to stroke though, with her sharp-feeling eye socket! Took some getting used to! But oh so much better than her horrible abscess. I hope Fleur's fur grows back soon so he doesn't look so daft
