  • Please Note - Medical Advice

Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

We are very grateful to members who take time to answer other members questions, but please do be clear in your replies that you are sharing personal experience and not giving instructions on what must be done.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

Endeavour - Updated 22nd March RIP :-(

I took this pic just now, I think you should be able to see that his eye looks better now. He is chomping away on hay :)

His eye does look like it is almost back to normal. Eating and pooping is always a good sign. You are lucky to have such a wonderful vet too.
Sending tons of vibes he has many, many good days in his future.
Hugs for you too!

I am so relieved to see Endeavour able to look comfortable and relaxed now having been on so much pain. I really hope this will last, I hate seeing him in pain

Oh he looks so much better, Jane  you've done a marvelous job bringing him back to health. I hope that you're feeling better too. Keeping prayers going for you and Endeavour. xxxxx

Bless him, he certainly looks relaxed there, and hope he stays that way, hope you're feeling better today too xx

He does look very comfy. He is so lucky to have your keen observation, dedication, knowledge and skill.
I wish someone could do the same for you. Sending you both more vibes.

I'm sorry you have lost him Jane, not one of us could have looked after him as well as you did
