Thanks, I'll look into getting some probiotics if things don't improve. He does East plenty of hay and had recently been gnawing his willow ball a lot too. Are spring greens and green beans ok for the veg?

Normally yes, but if you suspect gas I would steer clear of greens like spring greens, cabbage, sprouts and broccoli etc, as they can cause gas. Watch the willow consumption - it's not a problem but if he is eating more than usual it could be a sign of pain. Even if it's not bad, if the hay intake can increase at all, that is the one that is best for a slow gut - if he hasn't improved by tonight and you are worried, I'd suggest no veg and possibly fewer pellets for 48 hours and you should see an increase in hay eating and hopefully better poops if he is otherwise healthy. And /or you can see if he'll eat more hay if it is his favourite type. If not, bramble leaves would be a good alternative.
As he is moulting, grooming him will help reduce the amount of hair he is ingesting.
