N and FHB both recommended constant administration of analgesic and a restricted diet to treat pancreatitis. A poor diet of fatty or sugary food is a definite aggravator of pancreatitis. As there is nothing to compare amylase and lipase levels to it is very difficult to achieve a definite diagnosis of pancreatitis.

I hope Dermot recovers, sending vibes.

We have made it through the night. By about 2am Dermot's pain reduced significantly. He is still not well, but from passed experience it can take him 3-4 days to recover from a severe attack. I just hope that he can recover again this time.
