Sadly Cotton collapsed and died on Saturday afternoon. He was allegedly only 2.
I'm so very sorry, tonibun. It's distressing also when you don't know the cause. It's possibly nothing to do with his neuter.

Did you have a PM done ? I am wondering if it might have been a post surgical embolism if it was a true sudden collapse and death
