Bella the Hamster gave me a Fright Last Night

She was just sat on top of her bed and I was watching TV when suddenly she fell backwards and laid on her back. I thought she had gone so I got up to look at her and she came round and was back to normal. Perhaps she had fallen asleep?

That would have been scary :shock: I don’t know anything about hamsters so I’m not sure if that’s normal!

Not sure it helps, but my 1 gerbil does that. She'll be sitting or curled up and then fall over/off her ledge and she'd just keep laying there for a bit and then be fine.
My gerbils are almost 3yrs so I've chalked it up to old age.
