Afternoon all,
Well my struggle with matted fur continues. My set up consisted of a
a double hutch with
1) soft bedding in the sleeping section
2) under bed box with wood pellets on the bottom and filled with hay
3) litter tray with wood pellets and small amount of hay
4) a hay manger hanging from the door
I've taken all hay out of the cage now apart from the hay feeder in order to reduce the amount
thumper has in his coat.
This doesn't appear to have helped a great deal as every time he eats hay it get stuck around his head
and rear legs.
Does anyone have a suggestion on how to help this. He currently gets groomed one or twice a day as it really
does get that bad
Thanks
Ss
