Hi everyone, I really desperately need some advice. About 5 months ago we brought 2 "female" rabbits from our local pet shop. You can probably guess where this is going!
We were due to have them spayed in acouple of weeks, the one rabbit has been behaving aggressively towards us and I was told that is normal and that spaying would help withthis.
today I had to the one female out because " she" was constantly on the back of the other, this was something else I was told was quite normal even in female rabbbits. As i was removing her Inoticed a little pink thing wriggling under all her fur and hay and lo and behold we have 5 little baby rabbits.
I have removed what I am assuming is the male rabbit. but a couple of things, I hope I am right in assuming that the rabbit which has been collecting the fur and making a nest is the female one?
also what do i do now, should i leave her completley alone, give her extrafood and leave the rest to nature. I am so cross at the shop, but even more angry at myself for not checking independently about the sex of the rabbits. so please any advice at all
