the vet was really nice. let me stroke him while she did the injection. he was fine yesterday morning. yesterday evening a bit subdued so he was in the house overnight. this morning the same but i thought he would be ok in the end, but was very poorly come 9:30 at the vets and they said it would be in his best interests.
all in all i think it was the right thing to do. he was very poorly & even if he had another procedure under anaesthetic it is a recurring issue. i kinda knew after last time that he couldn't go on like this.
Hi KCG. thank you, but unfortunately he has been put to sleep (euthanised)
. he has had a history of stomach blockages, happening with increasing frequency. this was the 4th time this year and he isn't (wasn't) even 4 years old

he was such a dear little boy. things just suck right now.
