Is it possible for buns to drink too much water?
My two buns have a bowl in their cage, and a bowl out in the lounge, each holds a pint and I fill them both up everyday (plus probiotics). They normally spill a bit in their cage, and get wet faces/chins when they drink from the bowl so they won't be drinking all of that. They're both eating well - lots and lots of hay, and just a few pellets so I'm not worried about them.
Really I'm just wondering what is too much, so I can keep an eye on this?
I am assuming that drinking too much would signify kidney problems? what other symptoms would a bunny with kidney problems show? Just so I can be vigilant.
[I seem to have the opposite problems to everyone else I think they drink too much water and eat too much hay - especially Lavender, she never stops, she needs a conveyor belt to her mouth! ]
