Snowy
Wise Old Thumper
Our beautiful Lily-Hope, Our Big Brave Girl was helped to the Bridge 2 years ago yesterday, I still can't believe she is gone and it breaks our hearts to know that we couldn't help her,
Lily-Hope was one of the most amazing bunnies ever, she was rescued from an horrendous situation and came in to our care, sadly because she had been so neglected and abused, as well as her injuries she was emaciated and severely underweight, there was nothing that could be done for her, although we tried for nearly 6 weeks and sought specialist advice and treatment it just wasn't to be. I know many of you will remember her story, she touched most people on here, but for those of you who don't know here are her pictures when she arrived
This is her Rainbow Bridge thread

The worst part of Lily-Hopes story is that she was let down by the very people who should have been protecting her, the neglect and abuse was caused by her owner, a breeder who owned quite a few rabbits, he was even trying to breed from Lily-Hope in that condition. A local rescue removed ALL the rabbits from his premises and because the conditions were so bad the RSPCA were involved and witnessed the removal, no action was taken at the time, however because of the condition and injuries on Lily-Hope our vet and the specialist vet both wrote extensive reports and together with xray proof sent them in to the RSPCA, they were both prepared to stand up in court and testify against this breeder but the RSPCA decided that no action was necessary, the breeder wasn't even spoken to, to say we were devastated is an understatement, she was so badly let down by everyone. That breeder filled his hutches again and is breeding to his hearts content safe in the knowledge that he can do whatever he likes and get away with it because the RSPCA don't care.
Lily-Hope you were a trusting, lovable bunny, we still miss you every single day, I hope you are at peace now and happy at Rainbow Bridge where nobody can ever hurt you again
