Just curious.
My vet seems to know quite a bit about buns as the advice he's given me so far has been sound. (eg: the feeding advice - 80% hay, then fresh veg, then a good brand of pellets; and advised us to keep feeding Freddie prior to his op - all of which is advice I've seen here, too).
He said for neutering buns, he uses a technique where he combines a good local anaesthetic with heavy sedation (bit like what dentists do for extractions I'd imagine in that they don't use heavy GA any more, but an LA and sedate).
He says it's lower risk to the buns and he feels they have enough pain relief and it's not stressful (and I'd imagine a faster recovery time?)
Any of you wiser bunny folk here heard of this and what do you think of it as a plan?
