Lillie and Tillie are a pair of 4 year old females. Tillie has been spayed and has a clean bill of health. Lillie however has cataracts likely to be caused by EC. She also has dental problems which mean her teeth need burring and clipping approx every 6 weeks. She is going to be spayed in Coventry by a rabbit specialist and while she's under we are going to get her front teeth removed to cut down on the amount of dental work to be done.

Due to the dental issues we need a permanent foster home in or near Coventry or Leicester where the teeth can be done without anestetic. We don't feel it's likely we would find anyone wanting to adopt, so long term foster care is our best option for them. We would pay for medical bills and if required food and bedding costs.

Can anyone help these lovely girls please?

ohhh you know what i would of taken them on if i was closer to you. great idea though the fostering.. ass its alot of money for dentals

It's not a lot of money though for dentals at the places we are trying to rehome them near to, £19 for front and back teeth to be done, £10 for back teeth only!

Lucy just to let you know there isn't a vet I know of in Leicester that does teeth without ga.,,.it's Gamston in Nottingham:D

I am worried for these girls. I cannot take Lillie to Coventry every 6 weeks but she needs her dentals. Can nobody help?

There are also vets in Sheffield that do dentals without GA for a similar price:D

& I'm currently talking to my Barnsley vets about it:D

Poor bunnies, they are absolutely gorgeous girls. Will keep my fingers very firmly crossed for them. xxx

Because she is in the business of saving lives, not taking them when they have a managable problem

My mums bun has no teeth and he manages just fine he has to have his carrot as peelings though and his pellets mushed up
