Sorry not been back here. Thanks MM & KK
Just to update. Blossom is doing really well since moving inside, in fact she seems to be thriving. I've since come to the conclusion that we weren't feeding her enough, as she's been steadily gaining weight since she came in, since we've been increasing her pellets and vegetables. She's not a great hay eater and I don't think she was eating enough pellets to maintain her weight while outside. We've also added in some junior Science Selective as I read you can give underweight rabbits junior pellets as they have a higher protein / calorie content and also a little Alfalfa hay.
We are enjoying having her inside and watching her flop out. She loves lying inside her cardboard tunnel and is not at all destructive. In fact, I think she'd make a perfect indoor bunny . I feel better too, that as our only single 'outdoor' rabbit, she is now safely inside.
Of course, I will take her to the vets if it becomes necessary. But at the moment she is eating well and is clearly gaining weight. I just need to order some scales now so I can see exactly what her weight is, so any recommendations of scales would be welcome x
