easy clean floor.

Im getting a hutch that doesn't have any kind of non slip plastic to the baae of the hutch and so I would like to put some in myself but dont know which would be best suited and what would be the easiest way to lay it in.

Any ideas will be much appreciated

I just laid my lino down direct onto the floor and it is pinned down with 2" x 1" batons around the edges using screws, so if I want to replace it in the future all I need to do is unscrew the batons and voila! the lino can lift right off again.
