I had Sooty spayed at the age of 9yrs by Jason Burgess who regularly does GA's on dental bunnies older than that. She was fine after her spay.
(I'm not going to say about the post-op care as I know you're more experienced than I am)

Oh gosh, no!!!! I know I met her only briefly but it makes it all the more real when it's somebunny you 'know' if that makes sense and I'm sitting here bawling my eyes out. I'm so gutted for you & Steve, Liz, and for Missus that she didn't get to enjoy the caring home you and Steve have given her for longer. I'm so sorry.
