I read somewhere last night that I could put a bowl of water in the cage as well as the bottle. I put some in a litlte while ago and he seems to favour this more than the bottle. Is that ok?

Most (not all) buns prefer it in a bowl as its more natural.
Think of wildie buns...they don't have bottles

That's absolutely fine. Its more natural to drink from a bowl than a bottle. All 17 of mine have bowls
WOW 17 bunnies. That would be fun and a challenge
I will keep on with the bowl but still leave the bottle in just in case he runs out over night.
