The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.
We are very grateful to members who take time to answer other members questions, but please do be clear in your replies that you are sharing personal experience and not giving instructions on what must be done.

UTI help appreciated for Treacle Update 6/5/19

you might find she will eat pellet mush or critical care from a bowl if it’s mixed with mashed banana or fruit/veg baby food. Frosty recommends the Aldi pouch apples carrots and parsnip, I think it’s a copy of the Ella’s kitchen ones. Topping up the vibes and sending hugs xx

My Pepper favours greens when poorly with UTI - the vet said I should give her low calcium veg, as all her favourites are high in calcium. Mashed pellets goes down better than hard pellets, so worth giving it a go xx

Thank you, yes I've been mashing a few with Aldi baby apple and Banana, trouble is Treacle is preferring room service at the moment, she'll eat if I sit and hand feed her :roll:
Poor baby! Sending her and you all the vibesThanks everyone, paws crossed but it looks like the abx are starting to work. Had a real scare this afternoon though, she was just flat and not looking good, I got down on floor with her, hugged her close and massaged her tummy. Half hour later big pile of poos all over the rug, and I don't care ! [emoji38] as long as she is pooping I'm happy. Really appreciate everyone's good wishes and vibes, when you're on your own with a sick animal, it's so good to the have support of you lovely fellow RUers

She started to go downhill fast yesterday, and is now in stasis, I have been up all night with her, praying for a miracle right now
