Wise Old Thumper
I've just come back from the vets with twinkle who has been seeing her for the last few weeks with suspected snuffles. And she's been discharged without improvement until after xmas
Although only once since i've had her i spotted nasal discharge she has been having bouts of sneezing, upto 30 in a row sometimes
She has had baytril for the last week which hasn't made any difference at all so now the vet is thinking its not a bacterial infection. She's mentioned a foreign body, root canal problem or allergy :?
She is very lively, healthy apart from the sneezing and has put on a bit of weight too, so the vet is reluctant to do anything as she doesn't appear ill.
The choices are, do nothing and hope it gets better by itself, try septrin, send her to a rabbit specialist for tests as they dont have the equipment at my surgery (obviously this would be really expensive though and I'm broke ).
what do you think?
