Hello everyone!
When I was at university and we were doing lots of practicals on animals (debudding calves, hoof clipping etc) and after we did one on an animal, if we drew blood or made a wound I.e cutting the quick on a goats hoof we would spray it with blue Terramycin spray.
I was talking to my vet yesterday about it as I wanted some for my first aid kit just in case any of the animals have small injuries where I need to put a barrier using the spray to help stop infection. She said that I might need it on prescription but I could try online so I've been looking at it.
Now it says that it's an antibiotic spray (hence why you need the prescription) but I know that they also do a purple spray which is an antibacterial rather than an antibiotic so it's a barrier.
So the question is, does anyone know what the purple barrier spray is called so I can order some?
Or, if I can't actually buy purple spray what is the over-the-counter equivalent?
