The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

I think you need to get your Buck examined by a Vet as it's impossible to advise you as to what, if anything, is wrong from what you have described.
If your Rabbit is a stud Buck I would not put him to any Does until you have consulted a Vet about his possible problem with his penis. If he has an infection this could easily be passed on to the Doe during mating and cause real harm to her and any kits conceived. If your Buck has some structural problem/injury involving his penis mating may cause further damage.
So in short the best thing to do is to take your Buck to a Vet

It's really difficult for anyone here to advise you as we cannot see your rabbit. It does sound though as if he may be in some pain and I would take him to see a vet so that he doesn't suffer. It will be very tender for him, poor lad
