Yes I have but not for a very long time. I found it can get a bit messy, and also not too good for them if they begin to munch it.


I line the litter box with newspaper and top it with hay. I did the shredded paper thing when I got a lot from shredding documents and didn't know what to do with it. Now I put it into the compost

I have used it before. I found it to be a lot more absorbent than just sheets of newspaper

I have used it and it worked but we find whole sheets of newspaper work better because they're easier to separate from the rest when we compost. Newspaper seems to take longer so we compost that separately.

I would use newspaper in preference, as it's softer and the ink non toxic

My Alfie loves paper and will eat it just like hay.

I use Fitch bedding in litter trays

It's great, very absorbent and good value for a big bale. They don't eat it or anything x

I use newspaper, straw and hay in 32litre underbed storage boxes. Mine used to eat shredded paper. I love fitch for the hamsters but found the rabbits spread it about too much!
