I do a big mix of hay with some "simply grass", excel super forage & a couple of oxbows mixed with some cheaper medow hay. I mix it in a big dustbin so all the different flavours and smells sort of infuse (well I think so anyway). It seems to work...they don't eat quite so much as they would pure super forage or Oxbow but it is much cheaper for me.

Thanks to everyone for their advice ,tips. and useful links. drpengie has kindly offered to send me a sample of her buns' favourite Timothy Hay so I'll see how that goes down first. Floss and Nia are seeing Kevin today so fingers crossed that Nia's put on some more weight and that Floss can stop the eye drops.
