New Kit
Long story short, I told my dad to let me know when he wants to mow the lawn so I can bring the rabbits inside as the loud noise can scare them. He ignored this and just went out and mowed the lawn very nearby to the rabbit's pen, and I came out to find one of them shaking quite hard. He is laying down in the hutch shaking now looking worn out and it's been over an hour since the lawn mower was running. I'm very worried and it doesn't help that it's a hot day.
I'm waiting for a tub of water to freeze so I can put it in there to try and cool him down. I've provided fresh hay and fresh cold water as well but he didn't seem interested. What else can I do to help him? I only got these rabbits about 2 months ago so I've never experienced an issue like this before. EDIT - he is much too shy to be touched so I don't have the option of wetting his ears!
