When I had Louie neutered I made him up a lovely puppy pen recovery area, puppy pads, hay in a box, towel to lie on.
I put him in there, within 5 minutes he had trashed it all and was attempting to escape by lifting the pen up with his teeth :shock:
I dismantled it all and just left him freeranging as normal, but checked him a couple of times a day and he was fine.
