Hi, hope i'am in the right section here, problem i have is we have just brought a new hutch for our 10 month old mini rex and he keep's doing his mess in the bedroom any idear why.
They just like to make up their own minds what to use the areas for
Our old bunny would never tolerate anything in the bedroom area, he scuffed it all out and just sat on the lino in there to have his wash, he never went to the toilet in there because it was his "wash room" only:lol:
He liked to sit and sleep downstairs in his covered run which had a solid base and litter all over, unless it was raining heavily then he'd hop upstairs.
As others have said, if your bun has chosen the enclosed area of his bedroom for his toilet just pop in a litter tray filled with newspaper and hay or whatever you like to use and away you go!
