Please Note - Medical Advice
Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.
You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.
We are very grateful to members who take time to answer other members questions, but please do be clear in your replies that you are sharing personal experience and not giving instructions on what must be done.
Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

Just gunna see how she goes and talk to William on Tuesday, because I'm so worried about her she's only had two doses of baytril so far.. But she doesn't think there's an infection.. So I'm not sure why that's being used anyway tbh

By the way, I asked my lovely vet about this and she thought it could be a seroma.
(an accumulation of fluid)

I have known seromas to be absorbed by the body without issue
Yea that's probably it sorry I'm just all over the place tbh [emoji38]A case of 'just in case' as if it got infected it would be harder to treat.
Oh thank you - and thanks for the link above I found that when I was furiously googling too [emoji38] I hope it is that and just goes, it's just waiting also I feel so bad because I let them out in the pen and then put them back outside in he hutch with run, they have so much space and they do go nuts it had nearly been two weeks after the spay, but it probably was too soon feel like I've caused her problems and put her in danger x

I can't see that you've caused any harm. Please don't worry!
I am out of hospital now, so I am recovering at home all day today.
Get in touch if you need to chat xx

Yea maybe not William thinks it was too much exercise too soon tho ivone saidI'm sorry Penelope's lump issue is still not resolved
When Tui had her 3 day post-op check, I asked my vet if it was OK to let her out of the shed, so that she could have the whole accommodation to run around in and she said it was OK. I really can't see that the lump has anything to do with the fact that you let them out, especially as it was almost 2 weeks after her op.

Yea I know rn they're in about 4ft by 4ft inside until vet says they can have more space, feel bad for Apricot tho, she seems absolutely fineOh It's very difficult to stop them moving about though. Tui was leaping about in the shed and short of tying a rabbit down I'm not sure what you can do.
I've had quite a few biopsies, and I feel quite out of it today to be honest!
My blood pressure is usually 90/60, and just before the procedure it fell to 84/55
They decided to give me oxygen beforehand and I said I didn't need it.
Their reply made me laugh - they said "We don't wait until you need it, you get it now!"
Thank you so much for asking
