There is a rescue in bolton near manchester and the lady comes on here. I have pm'd her regarding bonding when i have mine spayed. Her user name is kayj and i think the rescue is bunnyhop. Not to far from manchester.

she didnt know anything about the bun
had to keep asking some other woman
and then said if I couldnt drive there could someone else drive me there and back
I said it would take 5 hours in driving time - which I couldnt do - and I dont have anyone I know who would do that

what about the Rabbit In Need section? Can you find any bun over there?

Or if you contact 1 of the rescue that is a member here who's near your area, you can contact that member here, she can recommend a good personality bun, after you get some idea about that bun, drive down there and pick her up.
