It would be fine with an attached run:D
I have got one the same size with an attached run for for my piggies:D

It's 4'x'4 which is slightly bigger than a 6' hutch so would work well as an alternative. You really want to pair it with a run though as they tend to be quite active at night and bad weather etc. Supervising rabbits for 6-8 hours a day in the garden in the rain in the middle of winter is not fun

Btw, they do a shed for a similar price, some people prefer them as you can stand upright, although they aren't as pretty as the playhouses.

Hello
The buns are average size? Not 100% on breeds, just mixed rabbits will upload a pic :D Both rescues ive had a few years.
They have a inclosed courtyard which is bunny safe! and they run round my kitchen (which leads to courtyard) so in the winter they run round inside!
I have been looking at pics on here for differant ideas for there new house! Currently are in a double floor hutch but its made really poorly made!! (grrrr p@h!!!)
So want to start designing the hutch in the summer!!!
Thanks

:D:D:D:D:D:D:D my babies!!!

Aww, they are gorgeous.

Just a bit of a different idea, but have you thought about just fitting a cat flap and having a sleeping box inside? They could then hop between and with the kitchen for when they want a sheltered area you wouldn't need a hutch. You could pop a babygate across the kitchen door to stop them taking over the whole house :)
