My rabbit is currently living indoors (I plan to move him outside in Spring when he's got himself a wifebun') and there's some pics of his set-up (( Here )) that may give you a few ideas. :wave:
Definitely get a cage on floor level - I'd recommend a dog crate or NIC cubes - but only ever as a base unless you can make a really large NIC cage - I wouldn't shut Jack in even for overnight. He'd hate it. If you need to shut your future bun' in at all for anything longer than 2 hours I *personally* believe you should have a pen of some sort attached to it so that your rabbit can have more room to just 'be a rabbit' lol.
