I think I have settled on having a wendyhouse conversion as our bunny home...the husband and I spent ages last night looking through different options and i think we might have settled on this so...
Would 4x4ft be ok for two bunnies? We dont have a huge garden and we do have children so we need to reserve some space for their gumf
We were looking at this one~

Or this one~

Or this sort of thing~

Obviously we would make levels inside...my DIY skills arnt amazing so i was thinking of a little table or two to make a second level? Adding ladders/ramps etc
How big a run would i need to attach to that to make it ok for them? Does the run have to be on a hard base or can it be on the grass? Is there anyway to make it escape proof/safe for them? I think im going to struggle for space to have a run attatched on hard stuff and then a seperate run for them on the grass so im trying to work out how best i can use the space available! Our whole garden is currently grass...
Any recomendations for makes/places to buy runs?
How do you attatch the run to the side of the house? am thinking cat flap inside the little house but do all runs come with doors on the side?
Would i need to take ALL the windows out for ventilation or just some? I realise I will have to cover them all with fox proof wire. By the time we are ready for the bunnies to come home to use we will be heading for the cooler weather...
How many bolts would i need on that door? top, middle and bottom?
What to do about the door? Im thinking i need something becuase i dont want them to run out when i open the door? Was wondering about building a little gate/fence (wooden frame all covered with the wire) to make a little 'front garden' to the house and so that gate would be shut when we opened the front door?
Im so sorry, i think your going to be sick of all my questions by the time im done!! Im brimming with ideas!!
Oh and last of all...how can i resist the urge of the rabbits needing homes section?? I keep seeing gorgeous rabbits needing homes and i wish wish wish we were ready now but i dont want to rush into it and i want to take time getting things ready and right...
